Youth donating young blood to help cure DabbenMel

Kindness can be a simple smile of understanding, a handshake, assisting an elderly to cross the road, or a generous act of donating youthful blood to an unknown patient in a hospital. Expressing and receiving kindness makes us feel good. Kindness is in our genes and when we awaken these hormones, our mood is lifted.

DabbenMel before his illness. His face and real name is withheld to avoid social stigma because of his medical condition

DabbenMel (or Mel for short)  has been undergoing continuous therapy for various ailments including diabetes T2, complicated UTI, gastropathy, neuropathy, and a very low count of hemoglogin. He has been confined in the hospital for the second time in the year 2018 and continuing up to this year 2019.

He also has aplastic anemia which is the main cause of his lowered hemoglobin. Other factors considered are the prolonged therapy using the strongest antibiotics for MRSA, a condition he contracted at the later part of his confinement at the first hospital he was confined in in the mid-part of 2018.

Without the blood transfusions, he could suffer a heart attack  due to very low hemoglobin count.

These youth donors (among others) had generously donated their young and healthy blood to Mel.
